HOKOA hockey for Life began after a friend challenged me to register my own business. At the time I was selling consignment stock for another company and was dependent on their service, delivery and pricing. Stock often arrived late, which meant that my customers had to wait much too long to receive their orders. This growing frustration became my challenge and in June 2005 HOKOA hockey for Life was born. You may be thinking: "What does HOKOA mean?" HOKOA is an acronym for HEAD OVER KNEE OVER ACTION - a term that I often used when coaching hockey goalkeepers.
