Debut: 17 October 2007, Aussieseries, Pretoria. My debut was the most memorable in my hockey career so far. We beat the Aussies 2-1 at the Randburg Hockey stadium; it was an unbelievable feeling to walk off the field knowing I had apart in that victory.
Caps: 35
International Goals: 8
Favourite skill: Reverse hit and inside pull.
Players I admire: Luciana Aymar (Argentina) – for her calmness and control with the ball. Vidette Ryan (South Africa) – she’s the most brave and quickest defender to play against and the most challenging to train against.
Favourite hockey destination: Holland. It was the first country I visited and everything about the Dutch hockey scene is awesome!
I play with… an Atlas Black Jet hockey stick.
When I don’t play hockey I… study. I’m currently busy with my honours in Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch.
I like… cooking, going for walks, being active, any pastime which includes the beach and a braai.
I don’t like… the bleep test, getting hurt, bad umpires and diets.
I attribute my success to… my faith in God and the love and support I receive from my parents, family, friends, team mates and Atlas Hockey South Africa.
